What We Do

The Business of Circularity

While helping our partners meet their sustainability goals, we’ve built a circular business model to leverage the materials we already have and transform them into something better.

Our Approach

Evolving materials for a changing world

Circularity isn’t just about reusing and recycling, it’s about empowering innovation and imagination. Together with our customers, we lead the effort in bringing new value to end-of-life materials through a 4-step circularity model.

    Reclamation

Reclamation We reclaim end-of-life rubber and rebound it to create new value.

From commercial truck tires to old rubber floors, Ecore’s reclamation programs allow us to partner with customers to repurpose what’s already in the world, targeting zero waste and endless use.

    Transformation

Transformation For us, it’s about turning waste into the raw materials of innovation.

All the rubber we reclaim is improved and put back to use. For instance, we can remanufacture tires and give them a second life. We can also grind and clean used rubber tires, floors, and playgrounds to remove impurities to create new, high-performance products.

    Manufacturing

Manufacturing With our improved materials, the possibilities are endless.

The transformed materials are used in more than 1,500 products today. Rubber never loses its performance benefits, and our manufacturing process preserves and enhances rubber’s natural energy, resulting in optimal performance for commercial, industrial, and athletic environments.

    design & Build

Design & Build Our innovation, technology, and service are at the heart of bringing Ecore products to life and to the world.

Ecore technologies and installation services allow for endless design possibilities to meet both aesthetic and environmental needs, from colorful rubber playgrounds and turf fields to rubber walking paths and pool decks.

  • Our goal is a world free of rubber waste.

Circularity is how we’ll do it.

    Why circularity?

Circularity isn’t just good for the planet. It’s good business.

We continue to invest in leading a circular economy because our business model and partnerships have proven that it’s not only more sustainable, but smarter business. In addition to reclaiming tire rubber, we’ve found a way to take back the rubber we put out and achieve full circularity through our TRUcircularity™ program.

    • Recycle

      We put rubber on repeat.
Our partners have rubber waste and we need that rubber to manufacture Ecore products. Together, we keep rubber in use and out of landfills.

    • Hazard

      We limit environmental hazards.
Ecore’s mechanical process empowers us to get closer to zero waste or emissions.

    • Innovative

      We optimize our business.
Ecore manufacturing plants and collection processes are optimized to ensure efficient operational timelines, minimize overhead costs, and reduce workplace risk.

    • repeat

      We leverage collaborative circularity.
Our customers help us keep the cycle going by purchasing the repurposed rubber products we make.
